Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WhatsApp Plus collects, uses, and protects information when you use our browser extension and related services.

Effective date: December 30, 2025 Last updated: December 30, 2025

Summary (TL;DR)

  • We store only the URL(s) you access or submit for summarization/mapping.
  • We use URL data only to provide and improve WhatsApp Plus features (scraping/mapping and summarization).
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not link stored URLs to your identity and we cannot determine who accessed a given URL.

Information We Collect

To provide the core functionality of WhatsApp Plus, we collect limited information:

  • URLs accessed — The URL(s) you visit or submit while using URL mapping/scraping and summarization features. We may fetch the content at a URL to generate the requested summary, but we store only the URL record.

We do not intentionally collect WhatsApp message content, names, phone numbers, or other identifiers. Stored URLs are not tied to a user profile.

How We Use Information

  • Provide the requested URL mapping/scraping and summarization functionality.
  • Maintain, debug, and improve performance and accuracy.
  • Protect against abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and resolve disputes.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information only in the following situations:

  • Service providers who help us operate the service (e.g., hosting, infrastructure, monitoring) and who are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • When required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful governmental requests.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets (in which case we will take steps to protect your information).

Data Retention

We retain URL records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain its integrity, and prevent abuse. Because URL records are not linked to an identifiable user, we may not be able to locate or delete records based on an individual request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Anonymous Collection

URL records are stored without a user account and without a persistent identifier that would allow us to determine who accessed a specific URL. As a result, we generally cannot provide access, portability, or deletion of URL records tied to an individual.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
